1. What is the price of an Afrigas 15kg gas cylinder refill in Kenya?

An Afrigas 15kg gas cylinder refill costs KSh 2,700 in Kenya, as of September 2026, at Kegas Dealers Ltd. This is an exchange price — you hand over your empty 15kg cylinder and receive a filled, sealed Afrigas 15kg cylinder in return.

2. Can I exchange a different brand’s 15kg cylinder for an Afrigas 15kg refill?

Yes — Kegas Dealers Ltd exchanges Afrigas 15kg refills with all 15kg gas cylinder brands, not just Afrigas. Bring any empty 15kg cylinder in safe, sealed condition and exchange it for a filled Afrigas 15kg cylinder at the standard KSh 2,700 exchange price.

3. Why is the 15kg cylinder less common than the 13kg in Kenya?

The 13kg cylinder is Kenya’s dominant household size, so most brands focus their supply chain there — but the 15kg size is a genuine, stocked alternative for households and small businesses needing slightly more capacity. Kegas Dealers Ltd stocks Afrigas 15kg specifically to serve this demand.

4. How long does a 15kg gas cylinder last?

A 15kg cylinder typically lasts 4–6 weeks for a family of 5–7 with daily cooking, depending on usage. That’s roughly 15–20% more cooking time than a standard 13kg cylinder before the next refill or exchange.

5. Is the Afrigas 15kg cylinder safe and EPRA-certified?

Yes — Afrigas 15kg cylinders are EPRA-regulated and KEBS-certified, sealed with a batch number and pressure-tested valve before dispatch. Every exchange cylinder from Kegas Dealers Ltd passes a safety and seal check before delivery.

6. Do you deliver the Afrigas 15kg refill outside Mombasa and Nairobi?

Yes, Kegas Dealers Ltd delivers the Afrigas 15kg exchange countrywide on order, with same-day delivery in Mombasa, Nairobi, and major towns. Free delivery applies on bulk orders of 10+ cylinders.
