2. Align the regulator. Place it squarely onto the cylinder valve outlet so the fittings match up.
3. Press and tighten. Press the regulator firmly onto the valve, then tighten the securing nut/clamp until snug.
4. Open the valve slowly. Turn the cylinder valve open gradually while listening and smelling for any gas leak.
5. Do a final safety check. Check every connection point before lighting your cooker. If you smell gas at any point, close the valve immediately and do not use a naked flame.
